'Maybush' was built in 1975 by Fernie Fabrications, and fitted out by the Abingdon Boat Co at Oxford. She started life as a trip boat .
She then went on to Trentham and then spent the last 20 or so years at Hatherton Junction ( and renamed Hatherton Belle) on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal.
Latterly used as a 'booze cruiser' she languished in a sorry state of neglect, we rescued her in 2012 and lovingly refurbed her...it took us 5 months of 18 hour days to get to what she is now. We hope you enjoy your visit as much as we love having her. And if you look at her carefully you will see she is smiling too.....
